Glasses...who needs them

When it comes to the third-dimension what to do you think? You may think about moving pictures that you can see that seem like pop out of the screen, and of course none of this is quite possible without wearing those specialized 3-D glasses. Look like that may be a thing in the past for Sony because the company developed technology that allows not only 3d games but also to play them without having to play them without the need of glasses. This is crazy how technology is advancing. It was about fifteen years maybe a little less since games were changing for two dimensional to three-dimensional. But we're not only talking just regular 3D but we're talking about a game that that will be bring the more realism into game play, a game that looks like the characters are that much closer to the player. Image Mario jumping towards you as if you could give him a hi-five. Nintendo plans to release their Nintendo 3DS, which also has this technology, sometime at the end of the year. This seems to cool, and I definitely will be wanting to buy it.

Time Extension?

I'm there are lot of people who go on YouTube, and find a video that has to take up more than one video upload because of YouTube's ten-minute upload policy. Well, that may change soon. According to this article I found off of boingboing.net YouTube could change their upload limit from ten minutes to fifteen minutes. Now I've never uploaded anything on YouTube, but I have edited videos before, and I must say it is not easy. Knowing that there would be a longer time limit, I would be pretty glad since let's say I make an hour-long video then I wouldn't need to edit as much nor upload as many videos. This is also pretty cool for people who put movies on the site. Now, we may only need to watch five or six videos to watch the movie we decided instead of the nine or ten videos. This is beneficial for the creator and the viewer. Overall this seems like this would be a good move on YouTub's part. Hopefully it will happen.

This is Sparta!

I'm guessing a lot of people have seen the movie 300. Well if you haven't you may want to go watch it. Now, the movie itself is very good and I would highly recommend it, yet the most awesome things are the edits and remixes people do to scenes. The most notable, I think, being a techno remix of King Leonidas' famous line "This is Sparta!" Who knew that a simple line would become a huge sensation online as well as a decent techno song. What makes these remixes fun to watch are not only the actual song but also the video along with it. Some of these videos are pretty funny since most of the time it's just Leonidas' head placed on random people's bodies or objects. So I recommend watching the movie first - or at least the original scene first - because this is AWESOME!

Game On

I just watched a nice video off of the tubefilter news website about a music video from the web series 'The Guild.' I must say I had a good laugh through the entire video. It's quite catchy and it really makes me want to play some video games as well as go rent some Bollywood films. I've never watched this show, but if the show is like this video - funny, musical, and of course about video games - then it looks like there's a new thing to look up on YouTube.
